Client: Department of Fine Arts at Loyola University Chicago
Role: Designer, Illustrator
The posters were created for a series of exhibitions held at the Ralph Arnold Gallery, Loyola's art gallery. The main difficulty of the following set of posters, was that most of the exhibits weren't solo shows. They contained more than one artist and therefore in order to be politically correct, I had to find a way to represent all the artists in an equal format.
In the case of Simplexity, I arranged all the artists' works in a bold graphic that gives the audience an idea of the subject of the exhibition. In the case of the Student Art Competition and the Senior Exhibition, I made use of illustrations and typography to not only add interest but also to clearly communicate all the necessary information to the viewer.
